Last Box Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

This policy describes how ChemicodeLabs handles information when you play Last Box on Android or iOS, or contact us about the game.

Your game progress

Last Box does not require a game account. Puzzle progress, preferences, hint balances, and purchase entitlement are stored on your device. We do not operate a server that stores your puzzle layouts or progress. Device backup services may retain app data according to your device settings.

Age range and service choices

Last Box first asks the app store or supported operating-system age-sharing service for an age range. Availability and the sharing interface depend on your device, account, and region. We do not receive your birthday. We store a coarse age band and sharing status on your device, together with whether you supplied an optional manual answer. We do not store your exact birthday or send this age state to our servers. A declined, missing, or unavailable result is not treated as an adult age.

If age sharing is declined or unavailable, you can keep playing. After at least 30 minutes of active puzzle play, we may ask once for a range: under 13, 13–15, 16–17, or 18 and over. You may choose “Prefer not to say.” We store the elapsed play time and whether this optional question was answered locally so it does not repeatedly interrupt you. Required store age verification must be completed through the store; the manual question does not replace it.

Native age-sharing information is used locally for age-appropriate service access and is not passed to advertising providers or used to personalize ads. In the current releases, advertising uses the same restricted treatment for every player, regardless of shared or declared age. A supported range of 13 or over can enable new purchases. For under-13 or unspecified ages, new purchases are unavailable; puzzles and restricted ads remain available. Restoring and validating an existing purchase does not require sharing an age. Older Android versions may handle these controls differently.

Open Settings → Premium & privacy → Privacy & purchases → Age range to review the available options. Native sharing is managed through your device or store account; the game can check it again. You can revisit a manual answer once that option is available. Changing an age choice updates purchase eligibility. It does not change advertising treatment.

Advertising

The free game includes optional rewarded ads for hints and ads between completed puzzles. We use Google AdMob through Unity LevelPlay to deliver advertising in the current releases. Earlier Android releases may also use Unity Ads or ironSource Ads. Ad services may collect and share device, installation or user identifiers, IP address and approximate location derived from it, app and ad interactions, purchase-related events, and crash, diagnostic or performance information. They use this information to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and maintain their services. In the current releases, we request child-protective, non-behavioral advertising with general-audience creative filtering for everyone. We enable supported device-identifier restrictions, limit mediation to supported Families self-certified SDKs, remove Android advertising-ID access from the app, and apply sale/sharing opt-out signals. On iOS, the game does not request App Tracking Transparency permission or access the advertising identifier for cross-app tracking. We do not pass native or manually declared age ranges to advertising providers. Ads remain subject to the providers’ eligibility and privacy checks. If an ad is unavailable, a free hint is available every five minutes after introductory hints are used; Premium provides unlimited hints. The hint cooldown is stored locally. Restricted ads can still require information for delivery, measurement, security and fraud prevention; they are not a promise of zero data collection. We do not request precise GPS location.

These providers explain their practices and privacy options in the Google Privacy Policy and Unity Privacy Policy. Network availability may vary by device and region.

Purchases

Google Play on Android and Apple's App Store on iOS process the optional one-time Premium purchase that removes ads and provides unlimited hints. The game uses Unity In-App Purchasing and receives purchase status and transaction receipt information to verify, restore, and maintain your entitlement. On iOS, Apple StoreKit 2 verifies transactions. We do not receive your payment-card details or ask for an email address in the game. Purchases and refunds are managed through the store where you purchased. Use Restore purchases in Privacy & purchases to recover an eligible purchase.

Store and billing providers may process transaction history, purchase-attempt events, installation, device or service identifiers, and diagnostic information to operate billing and prevent problems. The game does not initialize Unity Analytics or Unity Gaming Services accounts. The upgrade stops ads in the game; it does not automatically delete information already held by advertising providers. See the Apple Privacy Policy, Google Privacy Policy, and Unity Privacy Policy for their practices.

Privacy choices

We initialize the advertising privacy service using the same protective treatment for everyone and never assume advertising consent. This treatment may suppress the usual consent message. If the privacy service cannot authorize ad requests, ads stay off. Open Settings, then Premium & privacy → Privacy & purchases → Privacy choices to revisit available advertising choices. Availability depends on your region. Choosing “Prefer not to say” does not enable purchases or change the restricted advertising policy. Restricted advertising still involves some processing for delivery, security and fraud prevention. Privacy and age choices do not remove data previously held by providers.

Support and retention

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it to answer your request and resolve issues. Avoid sending passwords or payment-card details. We keep support information only as long as needed to resolve the request, maintain necessary records, and meet applicable obligations. Ad and store providers determine their own retention periods under their policies. We do not promise a fixed deletion period for data held by them.

Your requests

You may contact support@chemicodelabs.com to request access, correction, or deletion of information we hold about you, or to ask about other applicable privacy rights. We may need information to verify and locate your request. Clear the app's data in Android settings or delete the app on iOS to remove local progress and preferences. Offloading an iOS app can retain its data. Manage device backups separately. Store purchase records are retained independently, and eligible purchases can be restored. Contact Apple, Google, or Unity through their privacy resources for information they control. Some records may be retained where legally required.

Children and international processing

Last Box is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us. Apple, Google, and Unity may process information in countries other than where you live, as explained in their privacy policies.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the game or its services change. The date above identifies the latest revision. For privacy questions, contact ChemicodeLabs at support@chemicodelabs.com.
